Yes sir! That's my baby!!!!!
I talked with Skylar last night. She is growing into such a wonderful young woman--It's hard to belive all the hard times that we had as she was growing up. I did the best I could under the circumstances, but she never went hungry or without clean clothes or a roof over her head. We were homless a few times, but not for too long.
She is a hard working smart woman and i am more proud of her than I have a right to be.
Last night she told me that her GPA was good enough for her to transfer to Berkley next fall. And she did so well in her speech class that she was recruited for the debate team of the College she is attending now!!!
I have to get there for Thanksgiving. I almost want to cry. I see her working for her dreams like I never had a chance to do. Live you dream, my darling girl!

What a beautiful feeling to have & thank you so much for sharing it :)
I can feel your joy in her happiness and success. Isn't it wonderful to see what you've created (in human terms) blossoming into such a beautiful and bright light??
Congratulations to both of you!
